"LEARNING AT HOME" 

 

Dear Parents and Students, 

As we begin our “learning at home,” I wanted to keep everyone aware of the policies and procedures that I will be following during this time for all of my subject areas. At the start of each week, I will post a "Weekly Announcement" where students will be informed of any assessments (quizzes or tests) for that week.   All classwork assignments will be posted to Google Classroom. All Homework assignments will be posted in the “homework file” that we have been using all year. Students are expected to view google classroom and the “homework file” daily for updates, due dates and further instructions for assignments. In addition to google classroom, students will be using several outside online resources that are listed below, as well as their textbooks during this time. All of these “tools” have been used in the past and therefore students should be familiar and comfortable with all of the available “tools.”  If for any reason a student is experiencing difficulties, please send a message through google classroom comments. 

It is crucial that all students complete work on time. Students will have to follow very specific timelines for due dates and assessment times so please read all directions CAREFULLY each day. 

Finally, I will hold “office hours” for students and parents to contact me with questions from 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM and then once again from 1:30 PM - 2:30 PM. Any questions that are asked after office hours will be answered at my earliest availability.
